Calligraphy Services

Letter Create offers specialized and custom calligraphy for weddings, special events or gifts.

Some items we have customized for our clients in the past have included save the date, invitations, envelopes, gift tags, welcome bags, programs, menus, escort cards, place cards, seating charts, favors, signs, and more.

Our lettering calendar fills up quickly, so please allow enough time to have your envelopes completed. Invitations should be sent out at least 8 weeks before your wedding, you should have your calligrapher booked at least 2-5 months before your wedding. All orders are required to complete a contract and deposit. A retainer of 50% is due at the time of booking to reserve our services. Submitting a calligraphy contract without a deposit does not book your desired completion date. Letter Create will not hold your desired date for you after 7 days of failure to pay your deposit. After 7 days, Letter Create will book your desired completion date to the next inquiry who would like that date.

Wedding Invitation Suite Process

Step #1 Wedding Invitation

You can order your invitations through our wedding invitation selection in our store.

Step #2 Wedding Envelopes
Your wedding envelopes are your guests’ first impression of your special day! If you are considering having these addressed in hand-lettered calligraphy, be sure to order at least 15-20% more envelopes.

Step #3 The Guest List
Keep. It. Simple. The list should have the name(s), the addresses and the zipcodes with each guest numbered. Make sure the addresses are complete by filling out Avenue, Street, Road, etc. Only couples engaged or married are joined by “and” (Mr. John Smith and Mrs. Mary Cunningham); otherwise list the names one under the other.

Step #4 Wedding Signage
The beauty is in the details and hand-lettered calligraphy makes it up close and personal for wedding signage. A quote on a mirror, a bar menu, a chalkboard welcome sign, a guest book – what’s your vision?

Step #5 Place cards
The wedding place cards invite your guests to the celebration at the reception. Although small, these place cards are an important piece of the wedding day and the handwritten calligraphy continues the theme set by your invitation.
