What Will Be Taught
You will learn about Lighthouses and their construction, you will also learn about what its like to live inside of one and their history.  
We will also learn how to create oil pastel lighthouses.  
We will talk about the different types of lighthouses and how to draw them.

Line, Shape, Color, Value, Texture, Contrast, Pattern, Repetition, Balance, Proportion, Emphasis

Class Structure
We will learn about the history and life inside of a lighthouse with a short question and answer session.
We will learn about the way we will create the art and prepare our supplies.
We will create our projects together.

There will be opportunity among the participants to ask questions and engage with the teacher and other students while creating their project.  There will be structure to the class but there will be plenty of opportunity to be social and engage with one another while learning more about lighthouses.  

No prior knowledge or experience required. 

 **I have allotted the time in case we need extra time for the class.  It may run longer or shorter depending on the detail and attention each student gives to their art.
